Voted best B&B in Buffalo News Readers survey. In 1803 Asa Ransom built a grist mill on the property, the first in Erie County. The original Inn structure dates back to 1853. Dining rooms were added in 1975 with careful concern to keep the charm of the 19th century. Each room has been created with its own distinctive character. All have private bath, radio & hidden TV, telephone, Wi-Fi & AC. Nine of our ten rooms have working fireplaces, and rooms 5 - 9 have a porch or balcony. Pets are limited to roomsd 5 & 8. Dinner is available, including many local farm products. Afternoon Tea served Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

Description

Historic Village Inn, the original part of the structure, dateing back to 1853 and includes the library, gift shop, and snug. Our dining room has many window tables and a woodburning fireplace. The rooms in the South wing each feature a porch or balcony and overlook the gardens and pond. Full country breakfast is included. Dinner is served daily except Monday. The ruins of the grist mill are at the rear of the property. Nearby is a five mile bike/hiking trail, with compliminary bikes available. Many interesting shops are within walking distance. Asa Ransom House is a 'Green Hotel' supporting and encorperating ecological programs.
